Myself and my entourage were invited to the new Chez Carlos for a BBQ. It's always a brave move on a bloke's part to invite kids to his house when he has none, I believe, so I am always appreciative of the offer.
I don't know how it is that we have been blessed with such great weather so late in March, but last Friday was perfect for outdoor dining.
Just a bit slow getting there…
because the driver with this trailer-load should have gone a bit slower around the bends, himself.
ooh. Don't I sound preachy! And that's without knowing the facts of how the accident happened! Tsk tsk on me.
Anyway, on to Carlos'sss.
The man and his meat.
You can see them, but you can't hear them…
I should quickly note here, that I do think that children should be heard. Some (not mine, ahem, of course) should be heard a little less, especially where adults who are not their parents are trying to enjoy themselves. I try to make sure mine are gainfully occupied – in this case, it was with lavender collecting. Not always a foolproof solution, but it does help.
More meat.
This time with smoke machine special effects.

I love not using a flash, I just need one of those f/1.2 lenses and things will be blissful.
Beautiful night.
I saved my favourite photo for last…
Love it.
