Day 3.
Ever mindful of my shortcomings I held strongly to the adage of 'Don't give up your day job' (it helps that I also like working there), and so would drag my weary bones out of the comfy Westin bed after only getting in there 3 hours before to drive the hour back, in early morning light, have brekky with my kids, take them to school, and go to work at the kindy, pick the kids up after school and race back to the city. That was Day 3, 4, and 5. As a consequence, I wasn't there for as many shows, but as a bonus, Sonny pretty much gave up on me doing the editing for him.
Napoleon was doing the make-up for Karla Spetic, and the tent was chockers with models, make-up and hair stylists, and media.
Napoleon had a running commentary to various cameras the whole time – I was too far away to pick up any hot tips.
Ok. I don't even own a hair dryer, let alone a hair piece.
Quick interview outside…
and then with the Opera House as backdrop…
Napoleon works fast magic on one of the late arrivals (models who were in the previous show, in this case Anna & Boy),
and another's hair is hurriedly straightened.
Almost ready.
