It's a dismal picture when you turn up for an afternoon show wearing the designer's clothes, and she asks what's going on with the dress.
I knew I was not rocking the look. Disheveled after running around all day carrying all sorts of bags and cameras, coupled with the (ugh) flats I had on after day 1's blisters, I had admitted glamour defeat. I was relieved when Magdalena fixed me up (after all, she had chosen the dress for me in the first place), and was able to trot off snapping more pictures.
Cute dress!
They are flashes she is holding. I saw one of this guys 'flash' images on the screen at the OPT. It was an awesome shot.
It had been a beautiful day, with the weather making the late afternoon at the Maritime Museum a perfect venue. As the setting sun shaded the city pink, the crowd gathered and the show began at twilight.
Lovely, flattering cuts in fluid fabrics, with some well-placed texture thrown in. One of my favourite collections of the week.
