For those of you living under a rock, one of the ads I did last year was for Bupa health insurance with the tagline "Find a Healthier You".
Me looking shithouse, meets me looking healthy.
Believe it or not, there was a little bit of enhancement required to make me look so crap, and we even had a practice day…
HOTTTTT!
The weirdest thing though, on the set, was being so used to shooting behind the scenes, and not being able to!
The final result was everywhere, yet, when Kerstin and I went into the Bupa shop to "get me some star treatment", you know, a glass of champagne, a foot massage perhaps (I AM kidding) even though I was on a mat on every counter, they didn't recognise me.
Too funny!!!
Nice little circle for me. My first ever modelling job at about 9 months of age, for Kodak, was on those same sort of mats on pharmacy counters for years afterwards.
N.B. And then there's this, pilferred from www.perceptivemarketing.com.au talking, quite rightly, about whether or not a tan is healthy for you –
in relation to the advertising campaign The Dark Side of Tanning which I think is a great campaign,
it's just that I'm not sure if my whitey-mc-whitey photo cuts it as the poster girl for healthy look = tan look, as I look a little more pinkish than tan,
and that's in comparison to grey 'shithouse' me!
