Foto Riesel, in conjunction with the Sydney Morning Herald, have been running a photo competition requiring three photos to be taken last Saturday, in Sydney's CBD. We were given the brief on the morning. We had to shoot something red, something depicting city living, and something from our public transport system.
I took Evan along, and I'm glad I did. While the brief left me feeling somewhat uninspired, it was a lovely way to spend time with my son, and see the city in a different way.
We walked, what felt like, about 12kms, in places that I never knew existed. We talked, and we took photos. It was a lovely, if not exhausting, experience.
In the end, I like Evan's entries more than mine.
Here's some of my pictures from the day…
Check out Evan's on his new blog, and if you have a Facebook account (yeah, I hate the Gen Y monopoly on things like this), please vote for him, or mine, if you like what you see.
