After my (fairly dry) Qantas flight last Friday week, it was nice to be met at the airport and shuttled to our hotel in an Adelaide Fashion Festival, BMW. A few hours later, after a wander along the nearby Rundle St, we were in a Fashion Festival BMW again, this time zipping our way across town to the aptly named Norwood Parade. I say aptly named, because the street was closed to cars and a runway installed on the road for an event showcasing the fashions of The Parade, Norwood.
Hair and make-up done, the models get a pre-show briefing..
Then head out into the cold evening air for a run-through(November shouldn't be cold, but it was, and like Kenny and Kristy the previous weekend, they were lucky the predicted rain held off)
Pretty light
The crowds gather
and the girls are ready, starting with lingerie
These boys worked so hard! So many outfit changes for them, but they kept smiling.
The evening ended with a catwalk strut from some (kinda uncomfortable-looking) semi-naked firemen promoting the 2011 S.A. firies calendar which was on sale at the event.
