Chateau Canaples. France.
How nice is this life!
First stop after Belgium is this chateau in France for the wedding of my friend, Shell, and her man, Mark. I was so excited to be able to attend, and even more excited because she didn’t already have a photographer. I could even bring along my trusty assistant!
But you won’t see any wedding pics for a while. Not, at least, until Shell and Mark have. In the meantime, here are some of our stay.
It must be France….
It’s a castle. Naturally there were huge grounds for the kids to run around and explore.
The winter garden room.
View from the dining room, through to the formal lounge room, then onto the billiard room which joins the winter garden room.
Bride to be, the night before…
…and the morning of..
Weddings need flowers…
The wedding was gorgeous. The setting was perfect.
And the food! Unbelievably extraordinary yummy.
Some examples that I didn’t selfishly tuck into before photographing…
We were totally spoiled with virtually a whole floor in the chateau to ourselves for a couple of nights. Great food. Champagne. Toys and games (and the run of a castle) for the kids.
The company was great. Both Shell and Mark’s parents were so welcoming, and lovely.
I can’t think of a nicer way for them to start their married life. But, like I said, you may have to wait a while for the pictures.
