St Peter's Basilica.
The worn feet of St Peter's statue.
Love this…
The beautiful, Michelangelo's Pieta..
On our way to the Sistine Chapel, where you can see the Catholics have quite a nice collection of art …
I was so looking forward to my dining experiences in Italy. I love my food, and Italian is a favourite (along with Japanese), but I ended up being very disappointed with the fare, in all sorts of establishments. It hovered in the quality/taste zone of a food hall, bain-marie experience – pretty crap. And that was with us steering clear of the tourist areas, for the most part. But, we were starving after the Vatican City, so we randomly chose one of a myriad of carbon copy places in the nearby streets and were very pleasantly surprised.

The veal was so good I wanted to order another to take away and nibble as we walked!
I have to give them a big plug… Arlu. Borgo Pio 135, Rome – just around the corner from the Vatican.
After that delicious eating, more water…
This one will make it to print. I love the colour. I love their looks. I love the cooperation, and the simplicity of the action.
My two boys…
