Day 2, on the Tux mountians.
Love how the light makes these colours so vibrant!
Evan and Belle… Be careful!
Dodgems. Snow-style.
!!!
That’s Evan’s hooded head smacking into that bloke’s shoulder. Poor Ev came off a bit worse in that collision!
Summertime in the Tux is still very good for skiing and snowboarding.
There were quite a few people going down the runs.
Here’s a demonstration in the nude. Summer sport, Austrian style!
We ate some lunch up there. I think I have already mentioned it was very cold up there, but at the same time, when the sun was out you could feel the warmth.
People were genuinely sunbaking up there on the verandah. Ski pants lowered. Boots off. Sonny joined in.
I heard this guy before I saw him…
Going back down the mountain, this time we walked – as they love to do in Austria!
We descended about 700m, on foot.
These little creatures made a big noise, and were dotted all over the hills.
Marmots. Never seen one before, but they’re kinda cute.
In the past, Austria has never been on my must-visit list, but I’ve changed my mind. We ended up staying three nights instead of one – lured by a combination of the hotel and location. I’ll have to try to get back there.
